What to Expect at Your First Dumont Dentist Appointment

Your first appointment with Dr. Herbert Schneider, Dr. Rachel Jacobs and Dr. Uri N Schneider will include a thorough exam, as well as a consultation. Because we have not seen you before, we will take extra care to get to know you, as well as find out what is happening in your mouth. Please be advised that initial appointments can often take up to 90 minutes. This is because we like to be thorough as we get to know each other. Future appointments involving regular, routine cleanings will likely be closer to an hour in length.

If you have any questions or concerns about your teeth, gums or jaw, please let us know during the exam. That way, we can make sure you have the most personalized experience.

Getting Ready for Your First Appointment

Are you planning for your first appointment with Dr. Herbert Schneider, Dr. Rachel Jacobs, Dr. Uri N Schneider and the team at Dumont Dentist? We encourage you to bring the following items along with you to expedite your experience:

Copies of any x-rays that may have been taken by other dental care providers (these are usually in disc form)

Your method of payment, whether health insurance, credit cards, third-party finance card, cash or a combination of several payment types

A list of any medications you are currently taking, as well as medication to take if you require them before dental examinations

Remember to come about 15 minutes before your appointment is scheduled to begin, as we will have paperwork for you to sign.
